For all its faults and for the frustrations, I am and always will be proud of our Labour Party. Since I became more aware of politics, I always felt more in touch with Labour but after researching about it and other parties I was convinced it was the party which reflected my values. On an abstract level, it matched my views on living "together, freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect" (Clause IV). In the real world, it stuck up for the hard working families of Britain by establishing the minimum wage for example. Importantly though, their record on LGBT rights is unmatched.
